Yes. I've had an awful cold for a week and a half, and a fever for three days. And on top of that, I just got a palate expander in my mouth, so my mouth hurts. And I have an awful headache. Goshdarnit I'm kind of a mess right now.

One a happier note, I get to read one of my favorite books for school!! To Kill a Mockingbird is a fantastic book, for all you who haven't read it. My English teacher loves this book, and gets really excited when we read literature that she loves, so this should be fun. XD
I'm almost done with my first big paper that I'm going to turn in for English this year. I wrote it on The Scarlet Ibis, a very sad short story. The paper is going pretty well, and I'm on the editing stage if it. This paper was one of the main reasons why I haven't been posting lately. My teacher wanted us to spend a lot of time on it, and along with all my other homework and being sick, I didn't really have time for much else.
We are half way through our golf season, and so far we have been doing pretty well. I've gotten sooooo much better than when I started! I've had to miss the last three because of being sick, but hopefully I'll be able to play on Tuesday. When we play the hardest team in the league. Yay, that will be fun.
Sorry about this lame post, but there hasn't been too much going on since I'm sick.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you're sick!! :'( Actually, I am too, with pretty much the same thing (fevers, chills, bad headaches, colds and sore throats), for the past couple days. So I know how horrible this thing is. I just really really hope I didn't give it to you! ;( Ugh. Not fun. Feel better soon!! My fevers are done, thank goodness. I just have a little bit of a headache, cold, and sore throat now.
Oh! And I've been meaning to tell you, I READ THE SCARLET IBIS! Oh my gosh that story. It's, like, totally incredible, but so so SO SAAAAD!!! I mean... Yeah. Wow. That story. I teared up! :P

Ugh, being sick sucks. I've been sick this week too, but I forced myself to go to school which made me feel even more gross and sicky. I hope you feel better!!

I knpw. DX Gosh, this freaking cold/fever is everywhere. Like, everyone at school has it too. :'( I went to school on Thursday but I left during 4th period cuz I was miserable. Then I felt a little better the next morning and tried to power through school until the weekend, but I felt even worse and everyone (sisters, friends, office lady) were all telling me I looked like I had a fever, so I went home during 5th period. Omg its so awful.
