First Art Class and Thanksgiving

So we had our first art class today! It was really fun cuz our class is just friends that we know real well, so we were goofing off a lot. :) But we did learn a lot a and our teacher is really patient with us, and he's a super great artist. As for the art work we did: when I was drawing it I was thinking about posting it, but then we got to shadowing the face, and it got really smudgy and now it looks like she dumped a bucket of coals on her face. So I'm not going to post it. But it did look okay before she decided to dump the bucket of coals. :) But I'm not bummed about it because it was the first time and everything.

Oh, and I forgot to say this in my last post, but Claire and Lu and I are doing NaNoWriMo! It's pretty fun so far. :) I'm not a really talented writer, but the challenge is fun. My word goal is only 25,000 words, because it's my first year. I might not even meet my word goal, because this November has been pretty crazy busy so far, and I imagine it will get even crazier. :)

Speaking of November, Thanksgiving is coming up! I love Thanksgiving! It's tied with Easter as my second favorite Holiday (after Christmas). It's so much fun making a whole feast of really good food. And pies are so amazingly good, and we are planning on making more pies that we usually do, this year, so I'm super excited. :)
