Hey guys!
Gosh, sorry it's been so long since me or Claire have posted. We've had such an intensely busy summer that we've kind of been neglecting S&S. :( Hopefully we will get a few more posts in before the crazy beginning-of-school rush starts.
The last few weeks have been so incredibly jam-packed full of stuff. After our vaca at the lake, we had five days at home to kind of get back into our daily routine before me and Claire and Lu went on a short camping trip with one of my dad's former students.
The day we got back, we spent the evening with our friends.
The next day we spent all day at the beach with friends.
Then the next day me and Claire went up to our cousins' house on a day's notice after spending all day at Addy's birthday party. We went to our cousins' to help ouraunt and uncle out with her three kids while she was at work.
We just got back on Thursday, and I feel like this has probably been the least-relaxing summer of my life. *whew* Not that I'm complaining... if you know me, you know I'm always "go-go-go!" But still, it's good to be home.
So, school starts in 17 days. I looked at the calendar yesterday and I was like,
"Nooooooooooooooo!"
Yeah. 17 days. *whimper* And then..... School. School. :'( But I think I'll live. Key word: think.
This school year brings High School. Yes. Claire, Lucie, and I are going to be Freshman. We aren't going to be homeschooling this year, we are going to be going to a Catholic High School. It's so weird to be going to high school. I'm 50% like, "Wooooo! High School! BRING IT!" and 50% like, "High School? Does this mean I have to act super mature?"
Like, I think when I was younger and thought of myself as a high schooler, I pictured myself a composed, pulled together, tall, cool, gorgeous teen. Turns out I'm a total stress-freak, 5'5, and Marvel and Harry Potter Nerd. lol :P
It's all cool. :)
Anyway, back to school. Since I've been homeschooled since the beginning it's definitely going to be different. Lockers, uniforms, classes, multiple teachers. But I think it will be good. I'm pretty excited. :)
Claire and I are going to go watch Food Network Star now. Bye!

Haha, when are we ever mature?? :p Don't worry, I felt like that too. Its crazy, we've been friends since we were like two and now we're in HS!! You're gonna do great in school. Its definitely a lot to get used to, but you'll do great. <3

DeleteLike two minutes ago I was looking through our old pictures on our computer and I found the cutest picture of you and you're like 6. :) OMG I remember all the stories we used to make up. :P LOL do you remember telling me that you were friends with all the animals in your back yard? You said that you were like the Queen of the Bees in your tree. LOL :P
I'll try to send you some pics of you that I found, they are seriously the best. :)
